How to Reach.

Step 1: Reach Delhi or Dehradun

The journey begins from Delhi or Dehradun, where travelers can take a flight or train to Pithoragarh, the nearest railway station are kathgodham(haldwani) and tankpur. Nearest airport is Pithoragarh. The nearest town to the pilgrimage site.

Step 2: Medical Permit from Pithoragarh

Go to the District Hospital, Pithoragarh, for a medical check-up. The hospital will issue a medical fitness certificate required for the permit. After verification. Before starting the yatra, the final permit check will be done at Dharchula Check Post. After clearance, you can continue your journey to Om Parvat & Adi Kailash.

Step 3: Travel to Dharchula

From Pithoragarh, you need to travel to Dharchula throughsharing taxi(bolero), Taxi and buses. A small town near the India-Nepal border. Dharchula serves as the base point for the yatra.

Step 4: Travel to Gunji

From Dharchula, pilgrims need to obtain permits from the government since this region is close to the Indo-Tibet border. After securing the permits, travelers proceed to Gunji, a small village that serves as an acclimatization point.

Step 5: Journey to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat pilgrimage.

  • To reach Adi Kailash, travelers need to trek from Gunji via Kutti and Jolingkong.
